Who we are
Artnbooks is a reader-first brand that designs and handcrafts slim leather covers for the books you actually carry—paired with an editorial hub and a welcoming membership community that help you read more, more easily, and with more joy. Our mission and slogan: Carry the story. Make it a ritual.

Our story
Artnbooks began as a book club and reader community hosting prompts, discussions, and seasonal challenges. As a physical book lover I keep asking myself for a better way to protect paperbacks and dust jackets without bulk and for simple cues that invite daily reading. We launched the webshop to meet that need with book‑first products—and to fund more programming, content, and partnerships that celebrate reading.

What we make

• Slim, fitted leather covers for paperbacks (mass‑market and trade), jacketed hardcovers, and A5 notebooks. Thoughtful details like non‑creasing inner flaps for dust jackets, corner reinforcement, optional pen loop and ribbon, and a slim profile make reading comfortable in one hand.
• Accessories that reinforce the ritual: bookmarks, detachable pen loops, reading log cards, leather care mini, gift boxes; plus giftable bundles.

How we’re different
We are book‑first and habit‑centric—optimized for reading in hand, not a travel journaling system. Beyond craft and personalization, we surround every purchase with guidance, challenges, and community that turn tools into habits.

Craft and materials
Every piece is handmade in small batches using full‑grain, vegetable‑tanned or chrome‑free leathers. Workshop and HQ: Netherlands; single‑maker, in‑house production with strict quality checkpoints.

Sustainability and ethics
We offer veg‑tan/chrome‑free options, align sourcing with Leather Working Group standards where possible. In our community, we uphold freedom of expression within Dutch/EU law and comply with the EU Digital Services Act’s moderation and transparency expectations.

Community and content
Reading becomes a ritual when you have cues and company. Our Ritual Notes editorial hub shares practical guides on habit‑building, sizing and care, seasonal lists, and maker stories. In our Circle community, readers join Reading Habit Building System, books discussions, live sessions.

Shipping and service
From our Netherlands workshop, we ship EU/UK orders in‑house with SLAs of 48 hours for in‑stock items and 3–5 business days for personalized orders. US/Canada shipping is available from the Netherlands.
